The Birthday Massacre distributes Violet to US

Metropolis Records will be releasing the extended version of Violet in North America and the UK on August 9th 2005. The extended version contains all the tracks from the EP, along with four works from the Nothing and Nowhere era (Video Kid, Horror Show, Happy Birthday, The Dream).

The Birthday Massacre news updates

The Birthday Massacre is featured on the cover of the Festival Issue of Zillo alongside The Cruxshadows. This special edition issue will be available in European shops and online for the next 3 months!

On a sad and related note, Zillo Festival has been cancelled this year by the promoters at Contour Promotion. Because of this, we will not be playing any shows until we kick off the tour in Switzerland on August 11th. Those who have purchased tickets for ZilloFestival or the ParadoX show should contact their ticket vendor.

On another cheerful note, The Birthday Massacre has finally found a North American record label home, which means we are preparing to release the extended version of Violet. We appreciate your paitence while the EP has been removed from the online store, we will have all the details for you shortly.

The TBM Remix of the Funker Vogt song "Fallen Hero" will be appearing on their new remix CD (also titled Fallen Hero) on the 25th of July in Europe.

More information about the DVD will be coming next week. Thanks to everyone for their paitence and encouragement!

LIE INSIDE YOURSELF will be avialable this week. Meegs is just finishing the mix. All brand new vocals... I am extremely happy with it !!!! HEAVY!!!! and very SEXY!!!!!!

I stayed up for 2 days straight recording... we had a blast!!!! So much fun... so much craziness!!! That's the way it should be when recording... just complete CHAOS!!!!

I have some big news very soon!!! I do not want to JINX myself... so hopefully this monday... I will post it.

wow, the last month or so has been NUTS.

People have been emailing me like YO WHAT UP WITH THIS JUNE RELEASE?

Well..most of you are musicians and know that sometimes you run into some problems. I've run into some lyrical issues! All the music is done just lyrics..I can't seem to force em out. Y'all know how it is.

SO.

I'm thinking the release will have to be pushed forward til like..August. At the latest. After its done it needs to be recorded and all that. I'm sorry for this pushing forward and delay delay DELAY but i don't want to give you guys crap...it may still be crap when you hear it but i like it dammit! hah. I have a demo done actually..and I will have to get more CDRWS to get it recorded and up for y'all to hear. It'll be the song "No Help From Above."

I hope all of you are having a fabulous summer, I know I am!
