This past week's show was another great success. Thanks to Jacob and Corrie for playing Orgy, Disown, Glamour Kings, Jimmie's Chicken Shack, Redrum, and Dead Sexy on air! And thanks for letting me be a guest in the studio! It was a blast!
We'd all like to thank all the listeners, and encourage everyone to tune in on Wednesday nights from 12 - 2 EDT(or longer, depending on how well things go). I'll post streaming information here in the next few days so that fans in outside the transmitting area can listen in as well on Winamp. I WILL be cohosting the show for part of the summer now, so you can always expect to hear some great RAM.com artists!

Here's the deal. We all need to go to Soundclick and stream the Fluffy Starr Sampler from there. We need to boost this on the charts and get new people to look at it. So please participate by going here: http://www.soundclick.com/fluffystarr
There was a huge amount of success at MP3.com before, so we are trying a few things now at Soundclick. Eventually we will put more clips up. We are working on this now.
We have removed the MP3 from Fluffy Starr Dot Com, but have a link to Soundclick instead, to aid in an effort to climb the charts there.
So give help give it a boost by going there now!

Orgy will be shooting their fourth video in Los Angeles, California on June 26th, 2004. This will be the first video from their new CD, “Punk Statik Paranoia”. We think that the video will be shot on location at Lacys Studios.
The first 500 people to show up will be able to participate in the Rave Party Crowd Scene. The location directions will be released one week prior to the shoot date. You may also call 323-819-1171 the day of the shooting for directions. Please do not call this number to play around, no one from Orgy will answer, it is to the production staff who will be very busy. There is no cover charge and this will be a great way to get up close and personal with the guys in Orgy. Those that wish to attend will need to provide their own transportation to and from the event. We expect to be there for at least 12 hours. People may come and go as they please during this time, within reason i.e. not in the middle of takes.
All who want to participate must sign a release form granting us permission to use the footage in the upcoming Orgy music video. If you are under the age of 18 you will also need a signed parental consent form.
The main scene will require each participant to wear a plain, very boring outfit while having underneath a great looking (outrageous is better) outfit. The storyline requires this change of clothing. The first shot will have everyone looking bored and dressed very plain. After arriving at a Rave Party and the music gets going everyone takes off the plain clothes and come to life ready to party, let your hair down and rock to the music! You will have the time of your life partying with Amir, Bobby, Jay, Paige and Ryan! Be sure to bring a towel or two, in one scene it will look like it is raining and the crowd as well as the band may get wet.

The first leg of the Orgy Punk Statik tour was great. I got to meet a lot of cool people on tour and would like to thank all the fans for their support.
I am going to do this update in a few sections over the next couple of weeks, so check back soon.
Now that I have time to work on my neglected website, you will get to see all the cool stuff we have planned for in this update. For the Collection I am adding 4 new guitars, one being the much talked about Roswell Star, 2 synths and 2 pedals. I have added a new category in the media section called Downloads with AIM icons, banners, and desktop wallpapers of my guitar designs.
In the next weeks I will be adding 3 new videos from my Jailhouse days, and an Orgy video from our first show in Tulsa Oklahoma in 1998. I will also be adding some pics and information about my live rig to the tech section. I am also working on a gallery of pics that I took while on tour, it will be called the PSP Tour Diary.
Another thing I would like to add is a special thanks to Lana for giving me the domain www.amirderakh.com. Lana runs the Official Amir Derakh Fansite now located at www.amirderakh.net. You can now use the domain www.amirderakh.com as well as the www.amir-derakh.com to get to my official site. Thank you again Lana.
Now that Ry and I are home we will be able to resume working on the Julien-K project. We have a lot of great things coming your way in the near future. Once again thanks for hanging on through tour time, updates should be a bit more consistent in the coming months.

Hey, everyone. I wanted to post this here so that unregistered lurkers can see it also. The "rumour" is that Fluffy Starr is about to go into the studio and record their debut album. What you have heard so far is just the demos. But the real thing is coming, and it is going to be better than ever.
I know it seems like it's taking a long time to get off the ground, but if you want to do it right, it does take a long time. But in the end music lovers will have a very unique and killer product.
Soon a single will be released free for download, to further the buzz. But we need to get that buzz going strong first. So let's get to work, friends.

A big bombshell dropped on the RED TAPE camp when our beloved drummer J.D. had to call it quits after this last tour. JD's wife Jen -who is also Twig's sister, is having their 2nd kid this month! We respect and understand JD's strong commitment to his awesome family and he will remain a close friend.
We had about a month or 2 of advance notice on this, so we were calling up fools left and right... cuz a good drummer that can tour and doesn't smoke rock is damn near impossible to find -epecially in Sacramento. We narrowed it down to a few fucks that had tha dope rèsumè, and the jamming began. In the end, 1 kid ruled them all...
Meet Eric H. -our new drummer. ha.
So we SHOULD be on tour in Europe right now... Unfortunately we had to cancel off of the DECONSTRUCTION TOUR in Europe. We just couldn't afford it!$!$!$!!!! -ouch! So sorry to our comrades on the other side of the lake -we vow to book a European Tour as soon as possible! Our plan is to hit up small clubs in the UK, Germany, & Holland in a cheap mini-van and play with local bands there. Hey, so if you live in UK/DE/NL, and got info on clubs in your area you think we could play, send us the info at R3DTAP3@HOTMAIL.COM -thanks.
So with new van and new drummer in hand, we carry on... starting with a nice little tour with the legendary 7SECONDS and our homiez PIPEDOWN! The a local Nor Cal gig with DEATH BY STEREO... check the updates these pages: SHOWS, LINKS, and PHOTOS.

Two great shows this past Wednesday and Saturday! Unfortunately the upcoming show at the Park Ridge Teen Center has been cancelled once again. For those of you who've been here before you'll notice the Local Band Finder Link/Rating is no longer a part of the S.S. Website.Unfortunately that site has closed although we are working on joining a few other rating sites right now. Also S.S. has finished 2 new songs and are working on several more. We're looking right now @ being back on the road touring around the end of June/early July.
Ozzfest announced that they're seeking 8 unsigned bands to compete for the chance to play 1 nationally televised show this year 2004, and to take 2nd stage next tour 2005. S.S. has called in for the audition, and if selected will be traveling to New York June 18 to Audition. There will only be two Auditions held. 1 in L.a. and 1 in New York! So wish us luck!
We have been in contact with Sumer Hogan (Professional Photographer/Owner of www.gigphoto.com ) to shoot our new full band/indivdual band pics as well as new liveshots. She shoots great pics and anyone needing new band photos should see her!
