Disown parts way with guitarist

Mitch Langford and DISOWN have parted ways. The decision came in early March when Mitch announced his departure from the band. Mitch states that his reasons for leaving were of a personal nature but commented he is thankful to have been a part of DISOWN and proud of the accomplishments the band has made throughout the years.

In his 5 year tenure, Mitch and DISOWN have accomplished releasing 2 full length albums, attracting the attention of several major labels, a song featured on the soundtrack of a DVD, Jigsaw, that was released to BlockBusters nationally, winning the Cleveland FreeTimes 2005 "Best Industrial Act" Award, opening for several national acts including Orgy, Godhead, KMFDM, Static-X and of course having the privilege of performing on OzzFest 2004.

He will be missed by DISOWN but remembered as well by his friends, supporters and fans. We all wish him the best of luck in life!

Amphibious Assault releases album info

I actually got a chance to add a new part to the last song on the upcoming ep. I'm really excited about it. If I come up with something good, usually i'll know it is so when I dance around like a fool. And I did that. Therefore, if no one else likes it, at least I know I do. teehee. Some tentative song titles:

1. Tears In Rain (slow)
2. No Help From Above (slow)
3. Love Letters Addressed to Dying (slow)
4. (perhaps a Chemlab cover here..probably Chemical Halo because it rules)
5. Deso (fast, and these where the letters i randomly picked, so Deso means absolutely nothing)6. Konnichiwa!

I was going to title the EP "Obscene Gestures in Front of the Pope" but in respect to him and catholics everywhere..i'll spare them the blasphemy. So no title yet. All of them are songs with singing in them. I may do a 7th instrumental, or a totally misplaced rock song. It's kind of up in the air right now; my exams are demanding my time lately, and then I go on the Pigface tour, then I go on vacation. So that leaves me about a month to finish the record, take pictures, and get it out to everyone. GAH!
Hopefully I will get this released in time. O Bacchus, give me strength through mass amounts of wine!

The Anix sponsers remix contest for "Dangerous"

You asked, so here it is!

Vocals tracks can be downloaded here:
www.the-anix.com/d-remix/

The vocal track is all pushed together, one verse after another to save space, so you will have to cut them apart to fit them in your song.

The winner will recieve a signed copy of "play dance repeat", a signed poster, and your version of "dangerous" on our official website with your name next to it.

Contest begins today 4-8-05, and will end 5-01-05

Good luck!
