The Anix clears a few things up

Hey guys, there are tons of rumors going around and they're only half truths. Yes, I have a solo project thing going now and yes Brandon is working w/ Megan McCauley as their guitarist.. but The Anix isn't going anywhere... We're currently just taking a little break while we figure out what we're going to do as far as replacing Nik goes. We already have a few ideas reguarding the matter and in the meantime, we are writing new Anix material and taking care of publicity, etc.. The thing you guys have to realize is that The Anix is our baby, we aren't going to just stop something we have put so much effort into.. shit, I moved from Florida just to be in this band... It doesn't take much to realize I wouldn't just put an end to it.

Please take the things you hear with a grain of salt and don't be so quick to jump to conlusions.

I:scintilla - new site, new line-up

Please welcome Bethany Whisenhunt as our new bass guitar player! We have parted ways with Jason Allen [guitarist extraordinaire and midi programming stud]. We wish the best for him and his future creations. Chad Mines [ex-bass] has eagerly moved over to guitar duties. You can see promo photos of the new group at our visual page.

As you can tell, we have a new look for our website! It is still functionally equivalent and we will be adding much more content in the coming days. Hope you enjoy it!

Orgy tour dates NOT confirmed

Once again, please listen family, the dates were not intended to be posted this early. Some of the guys have work commitments that are making a real tour very difficult but they do plan to tour at some time in the future. That is all I can say at this point. Sorry for the mixup.

Celldweller speaks

Klayton answered a few questions on the board...

Q) What the lyrics to the rap section of Switchback?

I’m not sure. I was channeling the spirit of a South African spider monkey at the time and that’s what came out.

Q) Any ideas for a new video?

There are actually quite a few ideas for new videos. Most of my ideas for Switchback didn’t transpire the way I had envisioned and I not terribly thrilled with the end result. It’s more a question of time than anything else. When the time is right I am sure there will be a new music video in some way shape or form.

Q) Any tour info?

This will depend on how certain things pan out in the next few weeks, but I am thinking we are going to head to Europe for awhile early next year.

XOK,
Klayton

Birthday Massacre's "Blue" Trailer

To see the trailer for the Blue video, visit www.thebirthdaymassacre.com . We are really excited about unveiling the final video to you, along with news and images that will tie into the DVD release. You’ll be able to access this June 1st. Much thanks to Dan Ouellette, Robert Morris from Mechanical Whispers, Scott Radke, and all the wonderful crew members that have worked so diligently to bring this together.

We are also happy to welcome to the fold our new keyboardist, o-en. Yet another member to come out of the woodwork of our London hometown, o-en has been a great asset in helping everyone grease up for the European tour and other projects, and is a blast to work with. He will be kicking around the board and other forums, so be sure to give him a warm welcome!

More live dates (Europe and beyond) will be announced shortly, along with some other exciting developments – in other words, stay tuned.

This giveaway is totally exclusive to Myspace users so if you aren't on there and would like to be in with a chance, click the following link:

myspace.com/redrumonline

Winners will be picked at random.
GOODLUCK!

Redrum are still alive and kickin'... but changes are coming soon.
Thorn has moved the Redrum project to LA and is currently busy working on the 3rd CD which was started after 1997's "Diabolic".
During the course of the last 8 years, Thorn has recorded nearly 50 new Redrum songs, done a German released KISS Tribute CD,did score and soundtrack work for the Lions Gate film "Switch Killer" (which features 11 original Redrum songs), and worked with other bands and artists including Orgy, Dez Fafara (of Coal Chamber & DevilDriver), MyPhix, and many others along the way.
The plans currently are to finally release the 3rd CD before 2006, and re-release the "Toys" and "Diabolic" CD for sale through this website at that same time. We are also working on a DVD which includes classic footage of the band live, some behind the scenes and practice footage that will show the work and effort that has gone in to the making of the 3rd Redrum CD over the past 7+ years. Keep the faith, the church has not yet burned.

New Ever release date

Because of technical difficulties, and other complications, 'The Unraveling' has been pushed back for a definite release on 06.17.05.

I am bummed about the push back, but I would rather release a solid EP than just met a release date.

Thanks for understanding.
